If you use SEO content correctly, it will help you website rank high in the search results for the keyword or keyword phrase that you’ve decided to focus on. One of the best ways to use SEO content to your advantage is by taking advantage of something called keyword density. Keyword density is basically the ratio of how many times your keyword or keyword phrase is mentioned in your content to the total number of words that are on the given page. If your SEO content has a decently high keyword density then you will usually have a much better chance of your site ranking high in the search results for that keyword or keyword phrase.

Don’t be silly with your keywords when you’re trying to achieve a good keyword density. No one wants to read something that is just stuffed with keywords, but offers no good information or isn’t engaging at all. Many sites this mistake. Heck, sometimes people just throw their keywords all over the page or simply list them over and over again – not a good idea.

Aim for a keyword density of one to seven percent. Many experts believe that two percent is just perfect.
